Component Migration from Sketch to Figma

Overview

Objective: The main goal of this project was to redesign and migrate from Sketch to Figma in order to improve the accessibility of the design system as well as the user interface, interaction.

Key Tasks:

  • Conducted comprehensive user research, including surveys and usability testing, to identify pain points and areas for improvement new components.
  • Developed wireframes and prototypes using Figma, ensuring alignment with the company's brand guidelines and user needs.
  • Collaborated with a cross-functional team of developers, content creators, and marketing specialists to implement the new design.
  • Integrated advanced analytics tools to track user behavior and measure the impact of the redesign.

Challenges:

  • Addressed the challenge of migrating content from Sketch to Figma without disrupting access.
  • Overcame technical limitations related to the integration of new features, such as interactive elements and personalized content recommendations.

Results:

  • Achieved a 40% increase in user engagement.
  • Enhanced user satisfaction, as evidenced by a 30% reduction in bounce rates and positive feedback from user surveys.
  • Improved website performance, with faster load times and a more responsive design across all devices.

Metrics:

  • User Engagement: +40%
  • Conversion Rates: +25%
